Hi guys :)
We are doing well here and getting used to our new surroundings. It is different than Finland of course, some of the biggest differences being the heat and having to drive about everywhere. That's odd and annoying too (mind you, I have never owned a car in my life). Another thing bugging us is the lack of recycling and green values here, but we also know that they are trying their best here. Irving has just introduced a recycling scheme and reduced the waste ending up to landfills by 25%, so that's a good start.

We have opened a bank account, found a new home where we'll move tomorrow, gotten us an internet connection and I am a proud owner of a Kroger shopper's card but I might not use it that much because yesterday we went to this amazing shop called Central Market. Organic food everywhere! We fell in love with the shop and will definitely return there. Barnes and noble is another great spot, but amazon is still cheaper… Especially now when Amazon.com is within reach. Heh, they don't  call Dallas a shopping heaven for nothing, see what I'm talking about here :D Oh yea and one thing I just HAVE to do is to go to 7 eleven and get me an iced coffee… and a free virtual Farmville gift!! This really is the land of opportunities.
