#21 Breakfast in Haleiwa (good! Go to Rosie's bar if you're up there). Going to McDonalds for internet. Shopping and errands. Post office. Keeping poor Eija waiting for almost an hour :( Shave ice, Turtles. Rain. Driving around a bit. Dinner. Seeing drunk people at the bus stop (must be the first time during this trip). #22 Up with the birds, Rain. Geocache. Finding one. Swimming. Wave attack! Sand everywhere. Showering, packing, driving to the airport. Some odd visa issue. 10,5 hour flight to Sydney. Taxi. To Nick's and Katrina's.

 

#23 Sleeping quite late. Getting a travel ticket. Taking a train which turned out to be a bus. Looking around a bit. Dinner with Nick and Katrina. Laundry. Early night.

#25 Saying bye to Nick and Katrina. Getting the car, starting to drive north. Getting lost after lunch. Failing to make it to the whale cruise. Australian reptile park. Kangaroo. Koala. Platypus. Wombat. Gosford. Wombat's bed and breakfast.

#30 4:00am wake up. Geocache near the hostel. Taxi to the airport. Flight to Christchurch. Getting the camper van. Chilly. Driving to Geraldine. Rain. Darkness. Cold. Dinner and sleep.

#31 Driving towards Queenstown. Closed road. Pondering chains but changing plans. Car electricity check. Driving towards Arthur's pass. Stopping for lunch in Methven. Deciding to stay and ski the next day. Dinner at a German place cos Marc-O loves the country. Wombat flu.

#32 Early wake up. Good weather! Ski shop. Ski bus. Snow chains. Skiing. Spa and sauna. Spraying water! Paying money for showering after the sauna. Curry and beer jug 10 dollars. Laundry.

#33 Chilly but sunny! Driving. Lunch at Arthur's pass. Night at Greymouth. Jumping pillow!! Sea! Beach! Cold water! No swimming, no no. Shopping. Bbq. Uploading photos to the server. Night walk at the beach. Moonlight, stars, waves.

#34 Reefton. Hanmer Springs. Kaikoura. Windy. Laundry. Chicken. Christmas lights.

#35 Kaikoura scenic walk. Elephant fish and crayfish. Seals. No whales. A sudden decision to drive further. Blenheim.

#38 Early wakeup. Driving. Change of plans. Nap. Rotorua. Te Puia Maori arts and crafts village with geysirs. Long wait to see Prince William squirt. Kiwis. Mitai maori village + kiwi encounter. I saw none but Marc-O saw 1.   

#39 Rotorua. Shopping. Beer under the All Blacks. Dinner at a wannabe fancy place. A closed amusement park.

#40 Nauseating drive to the Hot water beach. Digging and bathing. Driving to Auckland. The shock of a bif city and its traffic jams. CS Meeting.

#41 Amazing view from the camping grounds. Breakfast with seagulls outside. French shop. Auckland tower. Finding Ma'ina's place. Marc-O cooking. Laundry. A great dinner with Ma'ina, Teuila and Eryn.  

#42 Flight to Tahiti. Crossing the international date line again. Flowers on the plane and at the airport, and a band too. Benjamin coming to get us. Roulotte dinner (raw tuna salad) and a drink. Bedtime.

#43 Early wake up. Papeete market. Driving around the island with a rental car. Funny waves, yellow fishes and crabs. Waterfalls. A carambola directly from a tree. Marc-O swimming in the sea. Fast drinks with Benjamin and his friends (the food never arrived). Heiva opening ceremony. More roulotte food!

#44 Breakfast from the market place. CS stuff with Benjamin. Intercontinental Tahiti! Swimming and snorkeling with Benjamin at the K18 beach. Champagne and sunrise on our bungalow terrasse. Getting engaged! Buffet dinner and a tahitian show.

#45 Snorkeling at the hotel lagoon, then from our own bungalow. Fishies! Buffet lunch. Drinks from a coconut. A great dinner.

#46 Having to leave the paradise :/ Swimming and canooing before. Free ride and visit to the pearl museum. Pizza. A ferry to Mo'orea. Crabs. Trying to hitch-hike to the hotel but having to call a taxi. Losing the shoes (most likely). Hibiscus hotel in Hauru with lizzards on the ceiling. Food shopping, dinner at home.

#47 Shopping, looking for a pearl but learning that we are after a keshi instead. Lunch at home. Renting a kayak. Snorkeling. Trying to find rays and succeeding! Dinner at Tippanier hotel. Laundry. Postcards.

#48 Drive to Lagoonarium. Snorkeling and enjoying. A ray and a shark and plenty of fishies. A lunch from Champion. Such a strange driver. Hurrying to the ferry. Back to Benjamin's. Ride to Intercontinental to find the ring. Success! Crêpes. Hiding a geocache.     

#49 4am wakeup. Missing shoes. Tahiti airport queue. Flight to Auckland. Ma'ina picking us up. Post office and shoe shopping. Hiding a Geocache in the rain with Monty. A great dinner with Ma'ina, Teuila and Eryn.

#50 Early morning. Ma'ina taking us to the Auckland airport. 11 hour flight to Hong Kong. Intercontinental with a great view! Watching the harbour light show from the room. Rain. TGIF dinner.

#51 Rainy. Starbucks. Looking around the shopping centers, trying to find a certain shop without really remembering the address (fail). Market place. Comparing prices. Esprit outlet. Watching the harbour light show at the hotel. Fancy 1664 beer ;)

#52 Swimming and spaing. New piece of luggage!! Shopping for packing cubes. Ferry to the Hong Kong island. Taking the Peak Tram. Another Bubba & Gumb. Walking to the world's longest covered escalator. Ferry back. Mongkok. Flower market and goldfish market. Electronics market. Trying to place the geocache but failing. Pizza / lasagne dinner.

#53 Early start in Hong Kong. Flying to Tokyo. Getting familiar with the trains. Finding the hostel. Rain. Japanese tv. Sushi restaurant!

#54 Rain and clouds. Solar eclipse on the tv. Meiji Shrine. Walking tour. Camera bag shopping. 2 French people working at the shop. Trying to find internet to get the CS meeting details, ending up to an internet hotel kind of thing. CS weekly meeting in Tokyo. Taking the wrong metro exit when coming home and getting a bit lost.
